AUGEIP
Research and Information System: Online Calendar
Africa cannot escape and
hide away from today's highly globalised world but, it
has to find the most beneficial ways of engaging in,
or with it - It can't keep on relying on methods and
formulas which have failed and left Africa permanently
weaker and desperate -

Your Schedule from Anywhere, Anytime |

 |
 |
| The Online
Calendar application is included in our
integrated AUGEIP Online Collaborative Suite. |
The Online Calendar allows you to keep track of
personal appointments, group meetings and company-wide
events. With the built-in permissions system, you can
share access to your calendar with colleagues who need
to know your schedule, while maintaining the privacy
of personal meetings.

frustrations and allows you to quickly and easily:

notify participants by e-mail
- Attach relevant agendas or directions to a
calendar event
- Sync your appointments with your Palm® handheld

events. Everyone in your company can easily monitor
the dates and times of important meetings and check
the availability of key participants when planning
events.
- Schedule Department or Project Team Meetings
Invite a select group of attendees to one-time or
recurring meetings. Participants will be notified
automatically, and the meeting will appear on their
personal calendars.
- Organize a Company Event
Plan your next quarterly meeting, summer outing or
non-profit fundraiser, and post the event
information in your shared Calendar. The event is
visible to all your employees, and reminders are
automatically sent as the date approaches.
- Track Project Deadlines
Post milestone dates for your project team. Attach
agendas, planning documents or other information to
help project team members better prepare to meet the
milestone.
- Coordinate Calendars with Remote Workers

Thabo Mbeki, "Our

advance in decisive manner toward the realisation of the goals
of African political and economic integration and unity - we
have to do this so that we overcome the problems of poverty and
underdevelopment that afflict Africa, impose misery on millions

continent and its people."
